UFC Vegas 72-Irina Alekseeva Vs Stephanie Egger
Irina Alekseeva put on a great performance in her debut at UFC Vegas 72 on Saturday night. Despite missing weight by four pounds on Friday, the 32-year-old bantamweight quickly defeated Stephanie Egger in the preliminary fight at the UFC APEX, submitting her in less than three minutes.

During the fight, Egger was holding Alekseeva from her back on the feet, but Alekseeva quickly went for a kneebar, causing Egger to submit at the 2:11 mark. Alekseeva, who was once a Bellator veteran and has been nicknamed “Russian Ronda” after former UFC superstar Ronda Rousey, now holds a 5-1 record in MMA with two submission wins.

On the other hand, Egger, who had previously fought for RIZIN and had beaten Reina Miura before joining UFC in 2020, now has a professional record of 8-4.
